For the second time in a row, Engel & Völkers Commercial has been named Germany's strongest broker brand by the European Real Estate Brand Institute. Ali Murat Asefoglu, Head of Investment of Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin, accepted the award on behalf of all locations and all consultants in Germany. The award in the form of a "brand diamond" was presented to him by popular TV presenter Barbara Schöneberger, who, together with REB Managing Director Harald Steiner, guided through the festive evening in event rooms of the German Bundestag in Berlin.
Largest brand study in Europe
The basis for the awarding of the strongest brands is the largest empirical brand value study in the real estate industry, which the REB.Institute has been conducting for 14 years. The study evaluates the positioning of real estate brands in sub-sectors and asset classes and has identified trustworthiness and transaction security as particularly important for a brand value.
"Those companies are clearly at an advantage that have been willing and flexible enough to adapt or redefine business models in the last two years," says Harald Steiner of the REB Institute. "They increase the value of their brand by repositioning themselves in a changing world."
