Gilet: Location and surroundings of this property

The property is located in Gilet, within the Camp de Morvedre region, with the sea nearby and at the foot of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. The Palancia River runs through the municipality and enjoys an excellent Mediterranean climate. The town is 5 minutes from Sagunto, 10 from the blue flag beaches of Puerto de Sagunto, 10 from international schools and 20 minutes from Valencia. It has excellent communication by road and train to Valencia and Castellón. Gilet is equipped with all services such as daycare, school, pharmacy, doctor's office, hypermarket, bars, restaurants, tobacconist, municipal swimming pool or civic center. The GR-10, a long-distance trail between Puzol and Lisbon, runs through the mountains of the municipality, with a fabulous hiking and cycling network among the pines. There are also some busy barbecue areas in the vicinity of the Santo Espíritu del Monte monastery. Gilet is an excellently located town, as witnessed by the developments that have proliferated in its area, for tourist or residential purposes. Its proximity to Sagunto allows it to benefit from the economic and employment boost that has emerged in the area thanks to the facilities of large companies.
