ENGEL & VÖLKERS CHARITY - Time for a new chapter!

For 12 years, Engel & Völkers Primary School in Togo, West Africa, has been providing more than 200 schoolchildren with basic education to give them a brighter future. Now is the time to start building a secondary school in order to continue providing pupils with education into their teens. An entirely new floor is planned over the existing school building, and we are aiming to raise a total of € 100,000 for construction costs.

Success is a wonderful thing and it’s even best when shared, that is why in October 2008 E&V Charity has been founded with the aim to actively support the construction of a primary school in Togo.

The initiative led to the construction of École privée Engel Völkers in 2009, an elementary school for the district’s children. Since 2010, the school teaches the official language French, most important requirement for a further education and more sophisticated professions. Additional to the lessons in reading, writing and maths, the school provides all necessary course material and two hot meals per day in the school’s canteen that has been built in 2017.

It is important to overcome our privileges and it’s our moral duty to be aware of our own humanitarian responsibilities offering help where it is most needed.

Our efforts are targeted to offer to the Agbetiko children the possibility to build a better life.

The right to education should be granted to every child of the world, help us in securing this right, even the smallest donation can make a big difference. Engel & Völkers Charity gives you the chance to sponsor a pupil at the “Ecole Privée Engel & Völkers” on an individual basis, thereby pledging to support our project in the long term. With 25 euros a month, you can cover the entire cost of a child´s education, as well as a new school uniform every year, all teaching materials and two meals a day.
