Puerta de Ángel is a neighborhood within the district of La Latina, southwest of Madrid. In La Latina and the Arganzuela district, mainly, you will find the urban park 'Madrid Río,' a green space built along an urban stretch of the Manzanares River. Puerta de Ángel is bordered, to the north, by the Casa de Campo (within the Moncloa-Aravaca district), the largest public park in Madrid, used by many athletes for running or cycling. And towards the center of Madrid, to the east, by the Centro and Arganzuela districts. From the Puerta de Ángel Metro station, it takes about 15 minutes on foot, crossing the Segovia Bridge, to reach Calle Mayor, which leads to Plaza Mayor and Sol.
