Òrrius: Location and surroundings of this property

Orrius is a small town in the Maresme region, located 40 km. from Barcelona. Formerly it was part of the land of the lords of the castle of Burriac. The town is organized around the church of San Andrés, a late-Gothic 16th-century building. The town has a forest where the Céllecs dolmen is located, an ancient burial mound from the end of the Neolithic period that is more than 4,000 years old. In the 1950s, an anonymous sculptor carved different rocks from the forest, creating the image of an elephant, a moai and an Indian.
