Mijas Pueblo is the beautiful centre of the vast municipality of Mijas, located more than 400 metres above sea level and around 10 km from the coast. The Mijas Pueblo area lies to the north of the municipality, bordering on the districts of Ojén, Alhaurín el Grande, Alhaurín de la Torre, Benalmádena and Fuengirola.
