Casablanca: Location and surroundings of this property

Casablanca Beach, located in the municipal district of Almenara, is one of the few beaches with excellent quality and without overcrowding. It is the southernmost town in the province of Castellón, situated between the Mediterranean coast and the foothills of the Sierra de Espadán. The population is around 6,100, with approximately 800 residents living there permanently. The historic and main center is about 4 km from the coast, beneath the Castle Hill. The castle, now in ruins, was originally built by the Arabs on the remains of an Iberian village and was active during the Middle Ages. At one point, it served as the residence of James I of Aragon and his wife, Violante of Hungary Between the historic center and the coast lies the marshy area of Casablanca Beach, showcasing a diverse range of native flora and fauna. In summary, it's a charming town, well-connected by road and rail, where you can also enjoy all necessary amenities: healthcare, education, culture, leisure, and the beauty of its surroundings.
