Villafranca del Castillo: Location and surroundings of this property

Villafranca del Castillo is one of the most beautiful luxury urbanisations in Madrid due to its large green areas and single-family homes. It has a park in the centre of the urbanization of more than 2km long to take pleasant walks and enjoy nature. It is a former hunting estate and you can walk through what is now the natural park of the Guadarrama river, which is protected and no more houses can be built. It has two schools, Zola and the SEK El Castillo International School, and the well-known Camilo José Cela University. On the same premises as the university you can enjoy a magnificent private club with spectacular facilities: 50 metre indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, tennis and paddle tennis courts, riding school. The excellent La Dehesa Golf Course is located in the municipality. It also has a shopping centre with all services: pharmacy, supermarket, vet, restaurants.
