La Pizarrera: Location and surroundings of this property

Living in the Sierra Noroeste de Madrid in Valdemorillo, is a marvel for its nature, its native plants, its large fields and above all for the incredible Valmayor reservoir that surrounds us, which is one of the largest suppliers of drinking water in the community of Madrid, with the reflection of the sun on the water, makes us move to beach areas and breathe real fresh air. The municipality of Valdemorillo is partially included in the Regional Park of the middle course of the Guadarrama River and its surroundings. It forms part of the tourist itinerary known as the Imperial Route of the Community of Madrid. There are many open-air restaurants with views of the reservoir, such as the Club Nautico restaurant, which will not leave you indifferent. It has a multitude of activities to do such as horse riding, motocross, a large aerodrome and hiking. It is a municipality in the western part of Madrid, located 30 minutes from Madrid, 10 minutes from El Escorial, bordered to the west by Robledo de Chavela and Navalagamella and to the south by Villanueva de la Cañada and Quijorna. Just 15 minutes away we find the Villafranca del Castillo urbanisation, with its prestigious international school SEK, as well as the French school Moliere, located in Villanueva de la Cañada. It has a bus service that goes directly to Moncloa in 35 minutes. Very quiet area to relax and breathe fresh air.
