The location of the estate is really good, Merza is a parish located in the southern part of the municipality of Vila de Cruces, in the province of Pontevedra. Nestled in an impressive landscape of valleys and mountains, the area is bathed by the three main rivers of the region, Ulla, Deza and Arnego. It is located on the banks of the river Toxa, whose mouth forms one of the most important waterfalls in Galicia, a fervenza -casacada, cataratas- da Toxa.on the banks of the river Toxa, we also find the monastery of Carboeiro, considered one of the best examples of Galician Romanesque architecture. This Benedictine monastery was founded in the 10th century and still conserves its church and some of the monastic flats, thanks to extensive restoration work. Its parish church, Santa María de Merza, conserves elements of its primitive Romanesque construction, dating from the end of the 12th century. The communication with Santiago de Compostela is very good, through AP53, it is 50km, and it would take us about 31 minutes by car. The distance to Lavacolla Airport is 60KM, about 40 minutes by car via the AP53.
