Teià: Location and surroundings of this property

The property is located in a high area of the Maresme, more precisely in Teia, a historic town with lots of charm. The municipality of Teia is located on both sides of the Teia stream, in the center of a small valley, at the foot of the Litoral mountain range. It is separated from Premiá de Dalt by the small hills of Salve Regina and Lledó. In its agricultural area, rainfed crops (cereals and vineyards) dominate over irrigated crops (potatoes, vegetables, flowers). After the phylloxera plagues, the original vineyards disappeared and were replaced by American vines. By the end of the 20th century, there were few cultivated fields left.
