Villanueva de la Cañada: Location and surroundings of this property

La Raya del Palancar (Villanueva de la Cañada) is a residential area set in a natural setting of great beauty, on the edge of the Regional Park of the middle course of the Guadarrama River, 30 km east of the capital, Madrid. It is not located near busy roads or large urban centres, which gives it great tranquility. It is, however, an apparent isolation as you can quickly reach the villages of Villanueva de la Cañada, Brunete, Boadilla del Monte or Majadahonda. The bus number 626 of the Consorcio de Transportes de la Comunidad de Madrid links the urbanisation with Villanueva de la Cañada, Majadahonda and finally Las Rozas. By car there is direct access via the M-513 from Boadilla del Monte, as well as from Villanueva de la Cañada and Brunete. Within its boundaries there is a restaurant, a hotel and a state school (Arcadia), as well as its own Social Club. Within two kilometers we find the Alfonso X El Sabio University, the Aquópolis water park and the Santiago Apóstol sports centre. It is an ideal enclave for lovers of the countryside, nature, walks and a quiet life in general, which is favored by a marvelous environment.
