The neighborhood was formed at the beginning of the last century by the annexation of the Sant Vicenç de Jonqueres parish to the municipality of Sabadell. In the 90s, the construction of l'Eix Macià, one of the main communication routes of the city, was completed, giving the neighborhood greater notoriety and better mobility with the rest of the city. The neighborhood is delimited by Plaza España, Francesc Maciá Avenue, Josep Tarradellas Avenue, Ronda Zamenhof, Vilarrúbias Street and Gran Vía. Its residential character and its wide range of all types of services make it one of the best areas to live in Sabadell.
