For our new Tech Hub in Athens – launching in November 2025 – we are seeking for you as a (Senior) Backend Engineer (m/f/d)* - Java / Spring Boot in full-time (40 hours).
We are looking for motivated and creative team players willing to be part of this exciting journey from the very beginning, supporting us in establishing and growing the new office, kickstarting projects and working in close collaboration with our existing teams in Germany on digitizing the real estate industry: Individuals who like getting things done, like to communicate and strive to work with passion & care, understanding the customers' problems and are curious how to best use technology to solve them.

Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate the application - full DevOps cycle

Define your pipelines and orchestrate your resources in the most efficient way

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient codes

Are You The Talent We're Looking For?
We are eager to hear from you if you…
👉 Hold a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
👉 Have profound experience in writing clean, maintainable code in Java, ideally using the Spring Boot framework
👉 Have good knowledge of data structures, deep understanding of relational database design principles & knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
👉 Understand modern cloud-based backend architectures and technologies (GCP preferred)
👉 Are familiar with Git, Kubernetes and Docker
👉 Highly self-organized, interested in taking over ownership and be proactive
👉 Understand testing methods and the application of good design practices
👉 Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
