Santa María del Camí, more commonly known as Santa María, has a population of almost 7,500 and in recent years has become one of the most sought-after places to live, both by locals and foreigners, as well as by property developers. This is mainly due to its privileged location in the centre of the island, just 15 minutes from the airport, the city and the beaches. The stunning panoramic views of the Sierra de Tramuntana are another reason for the area's popularity. It offers a wide range of contemporary cuisine and shopping facilities, including a state school alongside the prestigious international Montessori school. More and more restaurants are opening in the area, as well as chic interior design shops where you can find everything you need for your new home.
