The district of Vennhausen is located on the eastern outskirts of the state capital Düsseldorf and borders the districts of Gerresheim, Flingern-Nord, Lierenfeld, Eller, and Unterbach. Vennhausen offers two nature reserves in the vicinity: in the east, the "Düsselauen bei Gödinghoven," and in the southeast, the "Eller Forst." Through the latter nature reserve, you can reach the leisure and recreation area Unterbacher See with two beaches and sailing facilities. The surrounding city forest is a haven of peace for walks and invites jogging or cycling. All daily necessities, as well as kindergartens, schools, and doctors, are located in the nearby town centers of Unterbach, Vennhausen, and Gerresheim. There are perfect transport connections to the regional motorway network. You can reach Düsseldorf's city center by car or with the U-Bahn line U75 in about 15 minutes. On both sides of Vennhauser Allee, which is characterized by its beautiful villa development, there are family-friendly residential complexes with a relaxed arrangement like the Gartensiedlung and Veenpark, with predominantly detached single-family houses, semi-detached houses, and terraced houses. Vennhausen is a suitable home location for young families who value the quality of their surroundings, as a mature suburb in green surroundings.
