Very quiet city integrated in the region of El Maresme, it is located 58 km. from Barcelona. The municipal term is crossed by the Autovía del Maresme (C-32) and by the old N-II road between pK 672 and 673, as well as by local roads that connect with everything around it. The relief of the municipality is characterized by the coastal strip of the Maresme, located between Malgrat de Mar, Pineda, and by the first elevations of the Montnegre Massif, which include the Serrat de la Crestada (250 meters) and the Serra de Miralles (340 meters ). The most outstanding mountains are Turó de Can Jordà (206 meters), Turó de la Guardia (241 meters) and Turó Gros de Miralles (343 meters). The Santa Susanna stream crosses the town coming from the nearby mountains and the town rises 9 meters above sea level. Susanna de Mar is characterized by its extensive beaches, magnificent sun and the aforementioned mountains to the north.
