The video consultation is a service you can use easily from home. You do not have much time or you are on the go? You cannot or do not want to leave the house?  In this case a video consultation is the most personal way to communicate online with your Engel & Völkers real estate expert in Zürich.

What kind of questions can be answered in a video consultation?

Our real estate experts will give you the same professional and extensive advise as in a personal meeting at the shop. You may ask everything about buying or selling real estate as well as questions regarding our listings.  

Does my real estate agent have to see me during the video consultation?

You decide if you want to turn on your camera or not. In any case, you will see our Engel & Völkers real estate agent during the video consultation as you would in a personal meeting at our shop. For the consultation itself it is enough to turn on your microphone but of course we are also happy if we get the chance to see you face to face.

Are there any technical requirements for the video consultation?

All you need to join the video consultation is your smartphone, tablet, notebook or your computer with internet connection. For the perfect communication you can use a microphone with speaker. You can also use the integrated speaker of your notebook or mobile phone instead. If you choose to be seen during the video call, please activate your camera.

Do I need a special app or software for the video consultation?

No, you do not need to download or install any software. You will receive an e-mail link with the confirmation of your appointment. Now all you need to do is to click «join» and you can start the video consultation without providing any more information.

Does every device and every browser fulfil the requirements for a video consultation?

Basically, yes. If you are using the regular web browser (ideally the latest version of it). It does not matter if it is Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera or Safari – they all will work for the video consultation. Also, your operating system does not need to fulfil any special requirements either.

Does the video consultation even work for technical amateurs?

Of course, because you do not need any special technical know-how. It does not matter whether you want to take part in a video consultation with your cell phone or computer. In the invitation you will receive the confirmation link as well as brief instructions. Simply click «join» at the agreed time and you are ready to go.

Does the video consultation offer privacy and devise safety?

To ensure privacy and protection our video calls and audio recordings are all encrypted.

Does a video consultation substitute a personal meeting with a real estate agent?

The answer is yes and no. We will always provide you the same careful and professional consultation for all your real estate question no matter if it is a video call or personal meeting in our shop. The video consultation can substitute a personal meeting but does not necessarily have to. Furthermore, you can use the video consultation with an Engel & Völkers real estate expert exclusively or as an addition to a personal meeting or phone call. The video consultation is an extra service for our real estate prospects, buyers and sellers who cannot or do not wish to visit us.
