Santa Catarina Apartments Project

Sta. Catarina Apartments are located on one of Porto's most emblematic streets, the iconic Rua de Santa Catarina. This bustling street is lined on both sides almost entirely by shops and restaurants, both traditional and modern. It begins at the green Marquês park, where the Marquês metro station is located. Roughly halfway down this long street is the Capela das Almas, one of the finest examples of the use of tiles in the city of Porto. Practically opposite is the Bolhão metro station, confirming the easy access to this street by public transport. A little further down, we pass the Magestic café, probably the most famous café in the city, with its art nouveau style. The street ends its descent in the middle of Praça da Batalha, where we find another excellent example of tile work in Porto, the Church of Santo Ildefonso. This street is considered the epicentre of life and movement in the city of Porto, located close to many of the city's major attractions, such as the Bolhão Market, the world-famous Lello Bookshop, the wide Avenida dos Aliados, the magnificent São Bento Station and the Clérigos Tower, considered the city's ex-libris and a great example of Porto's Gothic architecture.
