Badia Blava: Location and surroundings of this property

La urbanización de Bahía Azul/Bahía Grande se encuentra en la costa del municipio de Llucmajor. Tiene todo lo necesario para vivir el día a día: pequeñas tiendas, restaurante y bares, centros médicos, etc. Este litoral se caracteriza por los acantilados de vértigo y las pendientes que conducen hasta el mar Mediterráneo. Dispone de una pequeña zona de baño formada por s’Arc de Sant Martí. Esta cala de rocas es un lugar tranquilo donde bañarse y no preocuparse. Gusta por ser una playa “privada” y sus puestas de sol son impresionantes. El acceso a la zona de baño se realiza por una escalera de madera pasando por zonas de sombra y sol. A lo largo de los siglos este camino sirvió de acceso a la costa a pescadores, piratas y, sobre todo, contrabandistas. Los acantilados también fueron aprovechados para la extracción del marés (piedra arenisca de tonos dorados o rosáceos), una constante en el paisaje mallorquín meridional y que se utilizó para la construcción de la Catedral de Palma. La capital se encuentra a solo unos 20 minutos en coche y el aeropuerto está a aprox. 15 minutos.
