After having spent the past eight years on the historical and impressive Tour & Taxis site, on the edge of the Brussels Canal, the grand-scale international gastronomic event Culinaria is upping sticks and will henceforth be held at an as of yet secret location that offers infinite possibilities in terms of setting and design.
The culinary festival, renamed Autumn for the occasion, will now be held in the middle of the most fertile season and offers one surprise after another, not only for the palate, but also for all the other senses, which will be exposed to a 360-degree experience.
From the 18th to the 30th of October, food lovers can visit a large hall where regional products, craftsmen and Belgian culinary enthusiasts can be found side by side. In addition, a gourmet restaurant will open its doors, where eight prestigious chefs rule the roost. Sang Hoon Degeimbre, Yves Matagne and Lionel Rigolet, to name but a few, will be singing the praises of contemporary cuisine by means of eight services. Their refined dishes offer a combination of delicacy, passion and guts, mixed with carefully selected ingredients. But these days, gastronomy is no longer just a question of food and fine wine - mixology or the art of cocktail mixing will also feature on the extensive creative menu. Bartenders and chefs will also be working together to create food-pairing duos, combining unique cocktails with exquisite recipes.
Culinaria establishes Brussels as one of the gastronomic capitals of Europe. Discover our luxury offers and find your dream home near the best restaurants in the country.
