Situated just above Benidorm, in the heart of the Costa Blanca and at the foothills of the Puig Campana mountains, Finestrat offers a variety of unique homes and lifestyle opportunities. As if to highlight the cohesion amongst the municipalities of Finestrat and Villajoyosa and their goals regarding sustainability and improved lifestyle for the residents, the two have joined forces to upgrade the promenade between the areas, the access to the beachfront, and the various adjoining roads. In addition, an approved plan is underway to create direct access to Finestrat from the N-332 (national road). This will connect with the present and 3 future golf courses, and the La Marina Shopping Center.

Within the municipality there are 5 distinct residential areas:

  1.  Located furthest inland and nestled at the foot of the Puig Campana mountain range, the picturesque and historic town of Finestrat is only 10 minutes from Benidorm. Green forests, citrus and olive plantations, and blue coastal waters allow for some stunning panoramic backdrops.

Elevated some 238 meters above sea level you can explore winding streets to discover white painted buildings, large doorways and medieval facades which manifest the Moorish inspiration with vigour.

The fragrance of the towns pine, carob and almond trees fills the air and adds character to Finestrat’s already existing charm. The area is a truly relaxing family destination.

 2.  Nearer the coast, and situated at the foot of the Sierra Cortina mountains, lies the Golf Badia residential area. This is a privileged and convenient location with all major services close at hand. It is also literally a 2 minutes’ drive from the Melia Villaitana Golf Complex (Levante and Poniente golf courses), the luxury five-star hotels “Asia Gardens” and “Melia Villaitana” and the A7 motorway, from where you have easy access to other beautiful towns of the Costa Blanca and also the airports of Alicante and Valencia. 

Here you will find modern and luxurious free standing homes, and residential complexes equipped with the ultimate in facilities and conveniences.

3. Balcón de Finestrat lies alongside the Puig Campana golf course and enjoys the same conveniences and quick-access-advantages as Golf Badia. Here you will find mostly modern residential complexes and town houses, with some free-standing homes, albeit on slightly smaller plots than you find in Golf Badia

4.  Terra Marina is still nearer to the coast and sits between Golf Badia and the popular La Marina commercial centre. As with Balcón de Finestrat and Golf Badia, the area offers many vantage points from where you can enjoy panoramic mountain and coastal vistas.
The area consists of mostly apartment and townhouse complexes with some free-standing villas.

5.  Only 9 km away from the town is Cala de Finestrat. Its golden sandy beach (with hardly a pebble in site) and crystalline waters is a treasure closely guarded by the residents. The area enjoys an extremely convenient location being only minutes from the vibrant Benidorm and its accompanying services and attractions yet a world apart in its more tranquil setting.

For the last couple of years, Finestrat has been growing at a consistent rate, making this one of the most sought after areas in the Alicante province and region of Valencia.

There is a new shopping centre planned (La Barrina), three additional golf courses, and some exciting and unique residential developments, new builds, and turn-key projects.
