Cala Pi is a natural port set on the south coast of Llucmajor, some legends say that is was there where the dreaded Turkish pirate Barbarossa landed in the 16th century and the watchtower at Cala Pi stands as a reminder of these times.

Currently, is a residential area that enjoys exceptional tranquility and nature.
As it is a natural port, it has always had fishing activity and was one of the areas in which tourism jumped in the sixties, however, it is currently one of the coastal areas that remain best preserved. In fact, it is an area surrounded by green zones, full of pine, almond and oak trees. The entire coast has been declared a protected marine zone for being of special environmental interest.
