Sierra Bermeja in Estepona is a majestic red, solid mountain that has a multitude of areas to carry out activities such as hiking or the observation of wild goats or birds of prey in the depths of the forest, which is, without doubt, a great, unique experience in the province of Malaga.

The mountain range has an average altitude of around 1000 meters and reaches a maximum height of 1450 meters at the great vertex of Los Reales, where the torrential water currents can be found.

The predominant forests in Sierra Bermeja are, in the lower areas of the mountain range, the cork oaks, in the middle part the pine groves, and the famous pinsapares (Spanish firs) with an area of 1236 hectares, which is highly protected since 1989 by the Andalusian Government as a Natural Site.

Only 10 minutes by car from Estepona, located in a privileged environment which captivates its visitors in every corner. Its renovated old town, one of the most beautiful in Andalusia, offers tourists the possibility to enjoy a real, urban garden: "The Garden of the Costa del Sol".

Its streets are white and adorned with colorful pots full of flowers, giving it the essence of a coastal Andalusian village. It preserves its customs and traditions, allowing them to live together in total harmony with its more modern and tourist aspect.
