Porís de Abona receives its name from the jetty still present today. It is the nucleus of greater importance of the locality, being able to differentiate the enclaves of the Porís, the Sarnosa and the Urbanization Casa Blanca. There is located a shopping centre. Porís offers all important services like a public square, a gas station, a sports centre, a pharmacy, a bank, as well as bars and restaurants. The beaches of Bonito and Porís are also located here. The distance to the south airport of Tenerife is 15 minutes by car and to the north airport is about 45 minutes.
