NoCastropol is one of the most charming fishing villages in Asturias on the border with Galicia, surrounded by the Eo estuary, with white-painted houses and large palaces. The town offers a pedestrian path around the coast, ideal for cycling, walking and bird watching. Among its most significant places, the nearby Penarronda beach stands out for surfing with its fine sand, making it a very appealing corner where you can spend a relaxed afternoon with a good book. Other very interesting places just half an hour away are Los Oscos and, in Galicia, the famous ‘Playa de las Catedrales’ or the pretty fishing village of Rinlo. Castropol is located just 55 minutes from Asturias airport and less than an hour and a half from Oviedo.
