HOUSE ON THE SEAFRONT IN CALAFAT

The construction of the house was based on modern lines that are complemented by natural and noble materials such as wood and dry stone. The facade of the house has been made with local dry-placed natural stone and white waterproof cement mortar. The exterior paving around the rectangular pool is ceramic. At dusk, the play of light facilitates the integration of the garden with the house. The house is distributed over two floors: ground floor with a garage for two cars, laundry room, machine room, courtesy toilet, huge open-space with kitchen, dining room with an oak table from Heerenhuis Manufactuur and Daw model chairs from Vitra. Ceiling lamps by Wever & Ducré. The living room features a Le Corbusier LC4 Chaise longue, a wall sculpture, The Climber Wall Art by Tanop Wichyanundh, a Kal-Fire fireplace, and a custom-made media cabinet. The kitchen has been equipped with furniture from the Italian brand Valdesign with a Daino Real natural marble countertop. On the first floor we find two double bedrooms with a full bathroom and two suites with a bathroom. The terraces on this first floor offer relaxation spaces and fantastic views of the sea. The ground floor opens onto a nice and spacious porch with outdoor kitchen, barbecue, iron and chill-out corner. The house is fed by the constant presence of natural light thanks to large windows on all the facades of the house, with very minimalist profiles. The hanging lamps in the stairwell from the TAL brand (Technical Architectural Lighting) and the Louverdrape curtains by Lecluyse are other elements that give this unique style to the house.
