Retiro: Location and surroundings of this property

The district of Ibiza in the Retiro district is a quiet residential area, with all the comforts of having everything within easy reach, and above all pleasant to live in, with a privileged location very close to the Goya shopping area, Plaza Felipe II, Puerta de Alcalá and the Prado Museum. The neighborhood alternates residential buildings with pleasant green areas, among which the Retiro Park (A vegetable lung with spaces for recreation) stands out. It also has a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes, which makes the area one of the liveliest in the capital, as well as supermarkets, schools, sports facilities and health centers and also very close to the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital. The El Buen Retiro Park is the real star of this Madrid neighbourhood, which has its flanks on the streets of Alcalá and O'Donnell in the far north, Doctor Esquerdo street in the east, Avenida del Mediterráneo and Paseo de Reina Cristina in the south and Calle de Alfonso XII in the far west. The origins of the Park date back to the time of the Catholic Monarchs, at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century. However, the construction of this one, is much later. It corresponds to the end of the 19th century, when the demographic boom of the city led to successive expansions. Communications and means of transport are excellent, both by metro lines and buses. It is one of the best communicated areas of Madrid as it has several subway stations such as Ibiza, Retiro and Sainz de Baranda and direct access to the M-30.
