"Riviera", the special collection by the designer Sarah Lavoine

To forget about the dull and grey winter, a warm and summery decoration style for your home is always appreciated. The famous interior designer Sarah Lavoine has understood all the challenges of bringing some of the warmth of the southern sun into our living rooms. Her interior design collection "Riviera" aims to be the image of the tender nostalgia of our summer holidays at the seaside. Her innate talent of introducing old-fashioned Art Deco style to the furniture recreates the 70s southern France vibe.

Natural materials that add character to your property

The Riviera collection includes several pieces of furniture including the duo coffee tables. To brighten up the room, Sarah Lavoine has designed a wall lamp shaped like the sun. To enhance this collection, many natural materials are put on the spotlight. Some of the furniture are made with rattan and varnished wood to appear like the cabins by the sea for a complete change of scenery.

The presence of raban shade is a reference to the beach mats that have been with us for generations. The designer also wanted to bring some sweetness to her collection by adding ceramic and velvet features. The choice of materials goes is successful thanks to a subtle mix of rattan and raban to remember the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, but also the soft touch of ceramics and velvet reminds us of our great holiday moments.

Bright Colours Inspired by the French Riviera

For a collection inspired by the French Riviera, it is essential to use the right harmony of colours that are both lively and natural. Once again, the artist Sarah Lavoine was able to favour the right colours by completing the perfect image of the late 60s Golden era in the French Riviera. The famous colour blue Sarah is obviously part of this collection and it is inspired by the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. The yellow mimosa and the green evoke the very varied flora in the shores of the south of France.

To bring a touch of vivacity to the natural happiness of the southerners, the coral and red reef colours are inspired by the colourful exteriors of traditional houses in this part of France. In order to give character to luxury and modern properties, the bold choice of adding touches of black and ecru allows a final touch to fulfill all expectations. The entire palette of colours is also perfectly represented through two posters designed by Martin Leguet, with a retro style to remind us of our nostalgic holidays on the Mediterranean.
