The Côte d’Azur, the home of the film shoot, is the ideal film location; it has been the setting for a variety of iconic films that showcase the region, cementing its reputation. Le Gendarme, a role famously played by Louis de Funès and a film that put Saint-Tropez firmly in the spotlight, certainly merited its own museum.
