The great names of design Made in France in 2019

You plan to renew the interior decoration of your real estate property? Here are the most noted designers at the moment in the creation of luxury furniture. Being visionary and daring artists, they create surprising objects with looks sometimes futuristic, sometimes vintage. In fact, modern trends that will inspire you are rapidly being adopted over the world. The following are some of the design trends to watch in 2019.

Ionna Vautrin – The geometric style for your real estate property

Ionna Vautrin is an artist known for her talents as a designer. Coming from the Nantes Atlantique design school, she collaborated with many prestigious houses before opening her own creative studio. The unique talent of Ionna Vautrin is based on the creation of everyday objects with basic shapes, clean lines, and vibrant colours. Among its collection, you can find lamps, vases, or tables, simple geometric shapes. These colourful works, sometimes reminiscent of the 70s, provide feelings of joy and nostalgia. Ionna Vautrin is still working for major publishing companies and has designed modern lamps for SNCF trains.

Ferréol Babin – The union of art and craftsmanship for luxury real estate furniture

After studying in Dijon, Ferréol went on to study in Nagoya, Japan. He then returned to France to join a specialised school in Reims. Since then, Ferréol has found a place in the world of design, with its unique creations and inspired by nature. He works with natural materials, such as ceramics or wood, to create works halfway between natural elements and human creations. His unique talent gives him the skills of a designer, a craftsman, but also a poet. He offers you, among his collection, lamps, decorative objects, but also furniture with singular style. Ferréol now works as an independent designer, while collaborating with luxury furniture publishers.

Inès Le Bihan – Modern lights

Inès Le Bihan is known for his industrial and connected objects for a modern property; just like Ionna Vautrin, Inès Le Bihan attended the Nantes Atlantique school. Thinking of moving towards web-design, she became passionate very quickly for industrial design. She creates modern luminaires, with aerial forms. The functional side is put forward, with a simple aestheticism, without superfluous elements. The objects she imagines and creates are, for the most part, intelligent. For example, it has designed an outdoor lamp with adaptable brightness and low energy consumption. This lamp, with soft lighting when fixed, can be used as a portable flashlight: its brightness then increases, and adapts to its use. Inès is a rising star among designers. Her career spans internationally and she collaborates with major publishers for whom she creates useful connected objects on a daily basis.
Both the simplicity and sophistication of the French design continue to amaze everyone all over the world. Thanks to the above artists and others not mentioned, France is expected to be among the trend-setters this year. With the energy and passion seen in both the rising and veteran artists, the situation will not change any time soon.
