Features: Kamatero is known for the important archaeological findings, such as graves and houses, that have been discovered in its center. On top of the Profitis Ilias hill that overlooks the town of Kamatero, one can enjoy the view of the entire Attica basin and the Saronic Gulf. In the last few years, modern complexes of two-story houses have been built in sparsely populated neighborhoods of the area, which are ideal for families. The area is home to numerous green spaces and parks, such as the Peace Park, and is, also, a cultural center, with many events being organized in the various theaters of the area.
