Le's find out more!
Once arrived in the province of Grosseto, the first thing that surprise the visitor is the beauty of nature. Here, nature dominates wild and protected. The landscapes are breathtaking and various. We have the classic Tuscan countryside, but also woods, pine forests and gentle hills. We have a crystal clear sea accessible from long golden beaches (Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto, Capalbio Scalo, Giannella and Feniglia) as well as from romantic bays (Punta Ala, Monte Argentario, Talamone). We have the islands of Giglio and Giannutri. We have Monte Amiata, halfway between Maremma and Val d’Orcia (Castel del Piano, Arcidosso, Santa Fiora).
Moreover, characteristic medieval villages (“borghi”) enrich these landscapes: places to be discovered to travel through time.
Tuscany Maremma needs to be experienced open air. This is a perfect destination for playing any sport.
For example, the area of Marina di Grosseto and the bay of Talamone are ideal for lovers of wind-surfing, kite-surfing and sailing.
The rich seabeds of Monte Argentario, Giglio, Formiche and Giannutri are the favourite locations of divers.
In addition, the whole Tuscany Maremma offers wonderful tracks for both trekking and biking. The countryside, the woods, but also the beaches can be discovered on horseback, while golfers can choose one of the several golf clubs.
