What you should know about this villa

Amenities and special features of this villa

Between Amalfi and Atrani, with its double view, Villa Belvedere looks over most of the Gulf of Salerno, from the Norman Tower of Amalfi to the lighthouse of Capo d’Orso, up to Punta Licosa, with Paestum in the background. Breathtaking panorama and absolute quiet are the peculiarities of this 18th century house, portrayed by painters and embellished by the expert pencil of the architect Marianna Gagliardi who, enhancing the ancient vaults, transformed it into a splendid villa full of light, with four large terraces on different levels and views from each room. The house spreads over three floors: the main one, with the entrance hall communicating with the living room, constitutes the living area all extended towards the sea thanks to the central balcony, to the terrace overlooking the entrance and the loggia then opening to the terrace towards Atrani. The living room is separated by two sliding doors from the dining area/kitchen and through a retractable door allows access to the master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom. Two stairs from the entrance: the first for the upper floor to the covering roof, and the other for the lower floor with the sleeping area with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en suite and a hallway. From the entrance hall you can access the guest bathroom and from there to the laundry room, while the storage room is hidden in a bookcase. The radical restructuring completed in 2011 designed the current structure, perfectly compliant with the certification of town planning compliance. All systems are efficient. The external thermal break windows are protected by anti-burglary, galvanized metal shutters. Finally, great attention to details with precious materials, cocciopesto floors with insertions of ancient Vietri tiles, marble and natural stones making this villa a true aesthetic and functional jewel.

Atrani: Location and surroundings of this property

Straddling Amalfi and Atrani, along the panoramic path connecting the majestic complex of the Luna Convento with the church of Santa Maria del Bando, Villa Belvedere is easily reachable on foot from Piazza Municipio in Amalfi thanks to the convenient lift of the "Luna Rossa", next to the very useful garage in case you use the car, or from the square of Atrani through the alleys or the panoramic staircase leading to the marina.
AMALFI, the fulcrum of the "Amalfi Coast'', declared in 1997 a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; with Venice, Pisa and Genoa it is one of the 4 Maritime Republics that dominated the Mediterranean between the ninth and thirteenth centuries still confronting each other in the annual historical regatta. Flavio Gioia homeland, the inventor of the compass, holds priceless architectural treasures testifying to its past splendor as a powerful Duchy whose fleet, rivaling the other Republics, transported merchandise from Constantinople. The most important center of the entire Coast is the fulcrum from which to reach, by land or sea in a few minutes, Ravello, Positano, Capri and all the splendid villages of the Amalfi Coast, suspended between the sea of intense blue and the lush mountain. Thanks to the mild climate, it enjoys a very long season, also benefiting from the cool summer breezes blowing from the green valleys of the Ferriere and the Dragone.
ATRANI, the smallest town in Italy, with only 900 inhabitants, despite being in fact part of Amalfi has preserved its charm as an ancient seaside village and its privilege of investing the Duke of Amalfi on the occasion of the Byzantine New Year. Its charm is undisputed and several times the village has been the protagonist as a film or commercial set.
