Visiting the old town of Portoferraio, you can discover on the one hand interesting historical monuments and holy places, on the other hand you can see small, curvy streets that lead to panoramic squares, old houses with flowery balconies and evocative corners where you could meet some locals ready to tell some curious anecdotes about the island.
Portoferraio is a 25-minute drive away from Marina di Campo, 15 minutes from Procchio, 20 minutes from Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro and 20 minutes from the airport of Campo that has good connections with the airports of Florence and Pisa and with Milan Linate and Lugano during summer time.
