Let's discover the Venetian addresses for a "stellar"cuisine"

Have you just bought luxury houses in Venice and want to celebrate with a memorable dinner? You are lucky because this city can also offer an enviable selection of 7-star tables, as reported by the Michelin Guide 2020. The new edition of the Rossa numbers in the Lagoon 35 places and 6 of them have reached star level. Here they are:

Glam Enrico Bartolini: the most awarded chef in Italy, Enrico Bartolini, who can boast 8 stars in his various venues - a number reached by few others in the world - also has a house in the Lagoon, at Glam, a restaurant set in one of the most beautiful luxury houses in Venice overlooking the Grand Canal. On the table the dishes prepared by his kitchen manager, Donato Ascani, who can boast the double “macaron” on his jacket.

Among the specialties 'Acquadelle in salsa e Seppia al mirto'.

Oro Restaurant: is the home of Davide Bisetto, a talented chef with international experience, from London to Paris. In Venice he has a home on the Giudecca Island in a room with spectacular ceilings - as the name suggests - gilded. On the table his cuisine is instead marked by elegance and finesse. Among the dishes that have won over the Rossa inspectors (and the coveted star): Cannocchia, garusoli, green pepper and combavas and Spaghetti, bloody mary and scampi.

Quadri: the Gran Caffè Quadri is one of the most beautiful in the world and also one of the oldest in Italy, inaugurated in 1775 under the Procuratie Nuove when Venice was the world capital of coffee. Since 2011 the restaurant has been entrusted to a champion of Italian cuisine, Massimiliano Alajmo who brought the star here on Piazza San Marco. La Rossa recommends: Cappuccino from the lagoon and toasted lobster with sour purée and watercress sauce.

If you have just purchased one of our luxury homes in Venice, celebrating with a dish from this famous chef is a must.

Has the San Marco area literally remained in your heart? No wonder, in addition to superfine restaurants and dreamy architecture the area is also rich in splendid luxury apartments for sale in Venice. All to visit.

Venissa: exit from the center and go near the island of Burano for the last starred cuisine to be discovered in Venice. The location is fabulous: the island of Mazzorbo with its vegetable gardens and vineyards brought back to life by a careful recovery and restructuring work. The result is a small, charming, ancient world with a view of the most famous lagoon in the world and a kitchen run by a young and knowledgeable staff. A mix that works, as the star shows, conquered with dishes such as smoked Anguilla, red turnip and sorrel or Ravioli with artemisia butter, pine nuts and bitter salads.

Osteria da Fiore: that is how restaurants in Venice evolve. Here we are in the San Polo area: the environment has been completely renovated, but keeping the original imprint. A bit like success with the kitchen firmly tied to the local gastronomic history but with more research and personal touches by the chef Mara Zanetti. Fried oyster skewers with salted zabaione sauce and lagoon Anguilla lacquered with beer glaze and honey with celery cream are the unmissable dishes. Word of the Michelin Guide.

Il Ridotto: reduced was the name of a small Venetian theater that shares the limited number of seats with this venue. In the small barrel, however, there is good wine: this is even more true for Gianni and Nicolò Bonaccorsi, a few steps from Piazza San Marco, which boasts a selection of unique vintage labels in the cellar. The recommended dishes this time will be Octopus, broad beans and black spaghetti, sea urchins, agretti and candied pepper.
