On 18th and 19th of October, The metropolitan area of Porto - in particular, Vila Nova de Gaia - welcomed the national franchisees of Engel & Völkers in Portugal, for a meeting between them and some of the brand managers.
With a proximity policy in mind, this brand considers it important to create solid and firm connections between the various entities and people that make up the brand and help it to advance on the road to success; considering also that this success is based precisely on the relationship between the parties and the vision they build together in the field of real estate.
The organisation of this type of event is, therefore, fundamental for the Engel & Völkers group, which is why, in 2018, they decided on holding their meeting of franchisees (LIPA, License Partners) to stimulate information sharing among the agents and the entire team of the company.
This year's LIPA meeting was mainly aimed at the Engel & Völkers' Portugal franchisees, with the addition of other entities representing the management and other divisions of this brand. In fact, the franchisees were welcomed with all exclusivity, by the CEO of Engel & Völkers in Spain, Portugal and Andorra, Juan-Galo Macià and the Director of Expansion and Support in the same three countries, Constanza Maya. This reception took place on the first day of the meeting, at the Yeatman Porto Hotel, and it was started with cheese and wine tasting that very much pleased all those who were present.
The second day of the event, which took place at the Pestana Palácio of Freixo Hotel, consisted of fun-filled presentation of the statistical data related to last year, which also explained the best strategies and forms of action applied throughout the period and presented the forthcoming initiatives. At the exhibition of all these data and projects, there were Clara García, (Web & CRM especialist), Rosanna Uva (Head of Recruitment), Pablo Molinero (Operations Manager) and Catarina Ferreira (Marketing), who were responsible for explaining about their areas and more broadly the vision of the brand under which they operate.
A round table closed this meeting by allowing the exchange of experiences between the collaborators. This round table was moderated by the Expansion Manager Margarida Oltra.
The extension of the duration of this LIPA event from one to two days seems had very positive results for all those present, especially, for the Portuguese franchisees.
