Pocitos is one of the most renowned neighborhoods in the city of Montevideo, capital of Uruguay. It borders the Buceo, Batlle Park, Tres Cruces, Cordón and Punta Carretas neighborhoods. It is characterized by an architecture of apartment buildings of ten to twenty floors that border the Río de la Plata and that coexist with some older buildings.
