YesThis municipality in the Tarragonès region is located on the left bank of the river Gaià, bordered to the north and west by Vespella, to the east by Puebla de Montornés and to the south by Altafulla and El Catllar. Located on the second line of the Costa Daurada, with access via the AP-7 and the N-340, La Nou de Gaià offers the visitor the charm of a small village perched on a hill, where the sun-drenched houses, typically rural and unspoilt by tourism, reveal the village's authenticity. The municipal territory, with an extension of 4'30 Km², is hilly at the foot of the pre-coastal mountain range, at an altitude of 94 metres, the village is located on the southern slope of the hill of Barral, 114 metres high, and others like the hills of Rovira, Castellar, Portalet and Dalmau. The area is also drained by two streams that come down from the Vespella de Gaià. They are the torrents of Vespella and the one of the Nut, whose waters go to stop in the Gaià within the term of the Riera. The streets of the old town, straight and narrow, take us back to times gone by. The splendid panoramic views over the cultivated fields of its municipality, which can be seen from the highest part of the village, crowned by the castle and the church, invite us to enjoy the peace and remind us of the proximity of the sea.
