NoOlèrdola is a municipality in the Alt Penedès region, made up of the villages of Moja, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, Sant Pere de Molanta and Vilallops. Its capital, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, is 54 kilometres from Barcelona. The municipality is crossed by the Mediterranean Motorway (AP-7), by the N-340 national road at km 1215, by the C-15 regional motorway (Villafranca del Panadés-Villanueva y Geltrú) and by local roads that allow communication with Avinyonet, Olivella and Villafranca del Panadés. Within the municipality is the Olèrdola Regional Park, which covers 409 hectares and belongs to the Network of Natural Parks of the Diputació de Barcelona. The territory is mountainous, especially in the southern part, which extends along the western slopes of the Garraf massif, where it reaches 465 metres on the Àliga mountain, on the boundary between the municipalities of Olèrdola and Canyellas. Also important is the Papiol mountain (383 metres), near the border with Avinyonet. Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola can be reached by road from the nearest towns: Sitges at 19 kilometres from C-15 and C-32.
