Torre del Mar, is a beautiful town on the Costa del Sol that is characterized by its environmental quality and the extension of its magnificent beaches of dark sand and moderate waves, family atmosphere, considered one of the best beaches, as it has the Q of tourist quality. The Poniente promenade is considered one of the most beautiful of the Andalusian coast. At present, it is a tourist, commercial and leisure enclave, whose gastronomic offer linked to the "pescaito" is part of numerous gastronomic guides. A symbol of Torre del Mar is its lighthouse, which can be clearly seen from many points inland and obviously from the sea. A must see is the Casa Larios, a former sugar cane factory, a simple and functional building in regionalist style with Mudejar overtones, characteristic of the nineteenth century. Today it is the seat of the Mayor's Office and music conservatory. To emphasize the commercial center El Ingenio whose decoration recreates the factory, there are replicas of the machineries of the old sugar factories of the zone.
