Central heatingEl Soto de la Moraleja is a residential area that includes townhouses, apartments, penthouses, first floor apartments with garden, semi-detached houses and all kinds of houses and townhouses within large landscaped developments, with swimming pool, tennis and paddle tennis courts. In El Soto there are many national and international schools, as well as an excellent urban transportation system that goes from and to downtown Madrid area (Plaza Castilla, Alcobendas and San Sebastián de los Reyes), in addition to the suburban subway that is also next to El Soto. In this area there is also a commercial zone with its own supermarket, coffee shop and some banks. The houses are built from the 1960s, currently there are almost no new constructions, but the majority are houses of the 70s which have very promising opportunities for renovation and are larger in the sizes of their rooms than houses built nowadays. The developments are generally very quiet and there are middle-aged families with kids who are attending the nearby schools. Most of the properties have a separate staff area from the family zone. This feature is different to the nearby area of El Encinar de los Reyes where apartments do not have a separated staff area.
