Campolide was once a good farmland, where there were several farms. All along the slope there were olive groves, orchards and vineyards. Currently, these hills “hide” a calm and safe neighbourhood, with houses mostly from the 70s. Almost the entire neighbourhood is made up of buildings, but there is a very interesting area (the Calçada dos Mestres neighbourhood) overlooking the Águas Livres aqueduct. , where we find townhouses with backyards. Young, elderly and families live here. There is the movement of those who leave in the morning and return at night, but also of those who live here during the day: for a trip to the street grocery store, or even to Amoreiras for another type of shopping.
