Interview with our new leading DevOps, Robin Wittler!

What’s your name and where are you from?

Hello everybody! ;)

My Name is Robin Wittler and I am from Germany. I was born in Minden, a small (like 90K residents) - but old Town.

What do you do at E&V Technology?

I am the leading DevOps. One of my responsibilities is to provide a fast, stable and secure Infrastructure.

What are some of the challenges you have faced so far?

Memorizing all the names of my new Colleagues. ;)

My typical day at E&V includes..

… Communication on many layers.

What technology are you most excited about working with next?

Next thing would be hubblestack (github), a modular, open-source security compliance framework. Also i want to build a new small and stripped event based grid execution engine. Implemented most likely in erlang and/or in go on top of something like msgpack.

What was a great surprising thing you discovered after joining E&V?

I was surprised how many products and workflows exists at E&V.
