This 3969 sqm building, of significant historical and artistic value and classified as a Cultural Heritage Site (BIC) in 1963, includes an additional 1402 sqm from three adjacent plots. The goal is to expand the areas of the future hotel and enhance the project's development, totaling over 5300 sqm in the heart of the historic center of Carmona, Seville. The incredible beauty of the building has made it a setting for multiple film shoots, such as the movie "La Piel del Tambor." The Convent of La Concepción is a prominent example of religious architecture that combines historically and artistically significant elements. Founded in the 16th century, it features predominantly Gothic and Renaissance styles, with Baroque modifications. The exterior facade is sober and austere, typical of religious architecture from that era. The cloister has a square plan with two floors of columns, built in the 16th century. The harmony of its architectural lines makes it a place of great beauty and spirituality. The church is an example of Gothic-Mudejar style, with a single nave and a polygonal apse, covered by a wonderful original coffered ceiling, perfectly preserved. The interior retains all its heritage and artistic richness in perfect condition. The "Retablo Mayor de la Concepción" is a masterpiece of Baroque art by Tomás Guisado, created in the 18th century, extensively decorated with carvings and gilding of significant iconographic wealth.
