The historic and listed Kronenhaus was constructed between 1902 and 1904 based on the plans of the prominent Düsseldorf architect Hermann vom Endt. In the style of modernized historicism with Art Nouveau ornamentation, it, along with the still-existing neighboring building, framed the access to the former Kronensaal, which served as a community center and was destroyed during World War II. This ensemble was commissioned by the Evangelical `Association for Inner Mission`. Now, a total of 27 residential units in the main building and four loft houses in the courtyard building are being developed in this historic and historically significant building. The loft house offered here is located in the former courtyard building from 1910. This building was heavily damaged during the war and rebuilt with a modified roof shape and is therefore not listed. You can reach the loft houses situated in the landscaped courtyard through the large courtyard portal of the listed main building. Here you live in the midst of urban Unterbilk without any street noise. You can easily reach the mezzanine of the `loft house` via the historic staircase. The main level of the unit impresses not only with its ceiling height of up to approximately 3.60 m but also with the large metal windows in the sought-after industrial look. The modern plank flooring accentuates the loft character of the unit. An external staircase leads you to the terrace. On the garden level, there is the main bedroom with dressing area, the main bathroom, and the utility room. On the upper floor, you will find another bedroom with a separate shower room.
