Bergamasco is an ancient village of 662 inhabitants in the province of Alessandria, nestled against the hills of Monferrato, a UNESCO area, famous for wine production. A stronghold owned by the Marquises of Incisa since before the year 1000, it became part of the Marquisate of Monferrato in 1514. The center of the village, dominating the valley, is the "Palazzo Marchionale," built between 1663 and 1685 by the Moscheni Marquises. It is currently privately owned (previously owned by set designer Carlo Leva) and houses a rich collection of cinema memorabilia (not included in the sale). Also noteworthy is the Church of San Pietro, the oldest place of worship in the village. The area is picturesque, nestled among the hills and surrounded by unspoiled nature, offering breathtaking landscapes with the incredible colors of the vineyards and woods. The local cuisine, celebrated by festivals and gastronomic fairs (such as the Regional White Truffle Festival on the second Sunday of October), is a blend of authentic flavors and culinary traditions passed down through time. The location is strategic: 1 hour from Turin, 1.5 hours from Milan, 1 hour from Genoa.
