Selva is a municipality located in the central part of the island, at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana (World Heritage) mountain range. This picturesque area comprises 5 villages; the town of the same name, Selva, as well as Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar, and Binibona, each with their own charm and character. The setting provides breathtaking views over the Sierra and in some parts they even stretches to the bay of Alcudia. The weekly market is held every Wednesday in the Plaça Major, providing an extensive variety of food, clothing and handicrafts.
