Torrevieja is a coastal town in the south of Alicante, Spain. It is located near the Lagunas de La Mata and Torrevieja, which are important wetlands in the Valencian Community. The town is bordered by Guardamar del Segura, Orihuela, Los Montesinos, Rojales, and San Miguel de Salinas.
