The historic and listed Kronenhaus was built between 1902 and 1904 according to the plans of the renowned Düsseldorf architect Hermann vom Endt. In the style of modernized historicism with Art Nouveau ornamentation, it, along with the still-existing neighboring building, framed the entrance to the former Kronensaal, which served as a community center and was destroyed in World War II. This ensemble was commissioned by the Protestant `Association for Inner Mission`. Now, a total of 27 residential units are being created in this historic and historically significant building in the main building, as well as four loft houses in the courtyard building. The loft house offered here is being built in the former courtyard building from 1910. This building was heavily damaged in the war and rebuilt with a modified roof shape, thus it is not listed. You can reach the loft houses located in the green courtyard through the large courtyard portal of the listed main house. Living here in the middle of the urban Unterbilk, you are free from any street noise. Through the historic staircase, you comfortably reach the raised ground floor of the loft house. The main level of the unit impresses not only with its ceiling height of up to approximately 3.10 m, but also with the large metal windows in the sought-after industrial look. The modern plank flooring underscores the desired loft character of the unit. An external staircase leads you to the private terrace and the small outdoor area. On the garden level is the main bedroom with a dressing area as well as the bathroom with an additional shower. Another room is available on this level.
